| Taste the Valley Tour
This tour lets you sample the very best of Annapolis Valley flavours – wine, cheese, beer and more!
The first stop is our newest winery, Planters Ridge for a private tour of the production area flowed by a wine tasting while in beautiful barrel cellar.
Then visit Fox Hill Cheese House, where you’ll find something tasty from specialty cheddar to herbed havarti, as well as gelato!
Then it’s off to the nearby Port Pub for a Taster’s Tray of hand-crafted ales from the on-site micro-brewery Sea Level Brewing (or a glass of local wine if you aren’t a beer lover!). A delicious lunch is also included here.
Another wine tasting at a charming Gaspereau Valley winery follows lunch and end the day at the enchanting Tangled Garden where herbs and fruit are transformed into mouth-watering jams and jellies (and much more) to enhance any meal!
Tour departs Saturdays from May 1 to the end of October from any downtown Halifax hotel
Departures from Dartmouth, Bedford and Sackville are available upon request.
