The tour starts with an entertaining story of how the Nova Scotia wine industry came to be on our way to the first stop, Sainte Famille Wines. Here you’ll take a tour of the vineyard to explain the grape growing process and taste a selection of their award-winning wines including Tidal Bay!

Then it’s onto Avondale Sky Winery. This winery opened to the public in 2011 and is housed in an historic church built in 1836. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy five of their “divine” wines on the deck overlooking the vineyard.

Finally you’ll visit Meander River Farm and Brewery. This charming property boasts live animals such as adorable pigs, chickens and geese as well as expansive gardens filled with lavender and beautiful flowers. Craft beer and cider is made on site and you’ll enjoy some samples after a tour of the farm.

Food is not included on this tour but you can bring along your own picnic snacks to enjoy in the vineyard at Avondale Sky or at Meander River Farm.

1:30pm – 5:30pm from Windsor/Wolfville

Please note that we are only operating with one tour van so only one tour per day is available. All Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are fully booked up until the end of the season but you can call to put your name on a waiting list. All Wednesdays, Thursdays are still available.

Transportation: Your tour picks up from the location of your choice in Metro HRM, Windsor or Wolfville area. You are required to bring along and wear your own mask while in the van.
