Uncork Nova Scotia is proud to present the Tidal Bay Wine Tasting Adventure - the only tour of it’s kind in North America!
Experience all facets of the wine industry as you visit three wineries, enjoy in-depth tours of the vineyards, cellars, complete with wine tastings at each winery featuring our appellation wine Tidal Bay!
You will also experience a three course travelling dinner created by professional Chef Kerina Dykstra of Let’s Eat Personal Chef Services starting with a Nova Scotian twist on Ceviche and a glass of Tidal Bay at our first winery, Grand Pre Wines. Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a vineyard tour and then a private wine tasting featuring wines made from the four grape varietals used in the Tidal Bay to see how they taste on their own compared to the Tidal Bay blend.
Blomidon Estate Winery hosts the main course where you’ll discover more fantastic wines and then participate in a traditonal Lobster Boil in the vineyard overlooking the Minas Basin. The evening finishes at Gaspereau Vineyards where you’ll enjoy tasting three different Tidal Bay wines (Gaspereau, Jost and Mercator) and then watch the sun set over the vineyard while savouring a decadent dessert!

“Wonderful Tour!”I was one of a group of six that traveled with Laila North of Uncork Nova Scotia on a traveling dinner and wine tasting tour of three wineries. Laila had organized a private Chef (Kerina Dykstra) to prepare a food course at each winery. Throughout the tour, Laila provided knowledgeable and entertaining conversation as she piloted the van to our points of interest. It is clear that Laila is part of the wine community and enjoys a convivial relationship with many proprietors, which clearly benefits her customers. Go North Tours provided a well-planned and most enjoyable event and I would highly recommend their services. I will book with them again in the future.
